It’s cup action for us here at Kilmarnock Ladies this weekend. The 13 Blues are in Scottish Cup action whilst the 15s and seniors have tough League Cup games.
The u13 Whites and the 17s are without a game.
The Blues welcome Forfar tomorrow (Saturday) in the Scottish Cup first round. The youngsters have started the season in frightening form and will hope to turn in another good performance tomorrow. However, Forfar are very much of an unknown quantity and we have no doubt this will be an entertaining affair.
Our 15s have also been in excellent form at the start of the season and will tomorrow (Saturday) travel to Cumbernauld with the hope of progressing to the League Cup Quarter Finals. They go into the game following a win over Clark Drive and will be looking to transfer their league form into the cup.
Finally, the seniors will make the journey to Edinburgh to face Hibs Development in the quarter finals of the 1st Division League Cup. The two sides are in the same league and will face each other next week as part of a double header, Mark Ritchie will be hoping his side can produce a performance worthy of a place in the semi-final, on Sunday. The game will be played at Hibs Training Centre (Ormiston) with a 2.15pm K.o.
Good luck to all three teams in action this weekend.
