Ladies Match Report

Kilmarnock 2 v 2 Boroughmuir Thistle

A draw was the final result in this encounter but Killie should've had the game out of sight with plenty of possession and chances falling the home sides way.

Kilmarnock took the lead with Munro finishing from close range.

Boroughmuir then equalised with a dubious goal. The ball crashing off the bar with the ref giving the goal despite protests claiming that the ball hadn't crossed the line.

Boroughmuir increased their lead minutes later as the striker headed home unchallenged from a corner - poor defending from Kilmarnock.

HT Kilmarnock 1-2 Boroughmuir

Kilmarnock came out more determined in the second half - possibly due to Ritchies half time team talk. They quickly scored the equaliser a minute after the restart. A move finished by Telford but good possession across the team going from side to side in the build up.

Kilmarnock 2-2 Boroughmuir.

Plenty of chances going a begging for Killie throughout the second half as they struggled to get a winner. Killie will feel like two points have been dropped in a game they dominated for long spells.
