We took a welcome point from Dundee on Saturday with Coulibaly scoring an audacious overhead kick to equalise for Ayrshire’s finest after losing a sloppy goal from a corner early doors.
It is great to watch the striker score yet another worldie and do his celebration flips, but it was even more touching to see him then dedicate his goal to his grieving team mate, Kris Boyd.
I am at a loss for words to describe the admiration and respect Killie fans and players have for Boydie, given his decision to momentarily put his personal grief aside, to lead the line for us at Dens Park.
The strength of character he showed and determination to get his job done is an inspiration to us all and I hope he realises that through this personal tragedy his Killie family will always be there for him.
